The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to close KY 873 in WEBSTER County during daylight hours starting Monday, December 23, 2013.
Motorists should expect to encounter daytime closures for drainage and cross drain replacement work along KY 873 between KY 2838/Dixon-Wannamaker Road and US 41-Alternate.
These daytime closures at various locations along this 1.5 mile section are expected to be in place on weekdays, except holidays, from approximately 7:00 a.m. to approximately 3:30 p.m., CST, for about the next 2 to 3 weeks, weather permitting.
Motorists may self-detour around this section of KY 873 via KY 2838 and US 41-A. Local access will be maintained on each side of the closure point as work progresses.
