Webster County Sheriff Frankie Springfield reported the following accident:
Wed., April 2, 9:58 p.m.
Deputy Mitch Townsend responded to an accident on KY 1340 two miles west of Dixon.
According to the report, Nancy McBride, 53 of Dixon, was traveling east bound in a 2002 Ford F-150 when the passenger side wheels of her vehicle dropped off the shoulder. She attempted to straighten the vehicle, but over corrected and lost control, going off the opposite side of the road. The vehicle rolled over twice.
There were no injuries reported, but the vehicle was towed.

Deputy Mitch Townsend responded to an accident on KY 132 in Dixon.
According to the report, Laquan Kendall discovered that her 2004 Chevy Monte Carlo had been struck while parked at the public library. Video surveillance from the library revealed that a 2012 Dodge Ram driven by Michael O’Connor, 58 of Dixon had struck the vehicle while backing out of a parking spot. O’Connor reported that he was unaware of the accident and had thought that the collision was cargo in the bed of his truck shifting.
There were no injuries reported and both vehicles remained in service.
Mon., April 14, 9:58 p.m.
Deputy Donald Jones responded to an accident on KY 132 three miles east of Clay.
According to the report, Chelsea K. Carter, 23 of Nebo, was east bound on Highway 132 in a 2011 Nissan Sentra. She reported that she looked down at her phone and her vehicle exited the roadway and struck a driveway. The vehicle came to rest in a ditch.
There were no injuries reported but the vehicle was towed.
