If you own a product that is subject to recall you might receive a notification directly from the manufacturer, you may learn of a recall from a news outlet. What if you miss the information? What if you never registered your product? What if you miss the newscast that evening? Recalls.gov is the combined effort of six federal agencies to create a central outlet for recall information. Recalls.gov allows you to sign up for email notifications or browse recalls by product type. The product page will inform you what actions to take and what the manufacturer is doing to remedy the situation.
