Sheriff’s Report
Webster County Sheriff Frankie Springfield reported the following accident:
Sun., March 2, 2:15 p.m.
Deputy Mitch Townsend responded to an accident on KY 109 one mile north of Diamond.
According to the report, Samantha Stone, 23 of Clay,, was southbound on 109 and did not realize how slick the road had become. She entered a curve and began to slide. She slid off the road and into the yard of Paul Ware.
There were no injuries reported but the vehicle was towed
Tue., March 4, 3:10 p.m.
Deputy Donald Jones responded to an accident on Watkins School Road three miles west of Sebree.
According to the report, Braden T. Stagner, 18 of Sebree, was traveling south in a 2001 GMS Sierra 4X4 in the snow when he started to slide. He applied his brakes, went off the road and struck a tree.
There were no injuries reported and the vehicle remained in service.
