Webster County Sheriff Frankie Springfield reported the following accident:

Deputy Cory Patmore responded to an accident on Kentucky Ave. in Clay.
According to the report, Ronald Colvin, 59 of Tucson, AZ was attempting to turn from State Route 132 onto Kentucky Ave. when the trailer of his semi dropped off the shoulder of the road. The truck and trailer went off the road and overturned, blocking the roadway.
Covin was transported to Baptist Hospital. A passenger in the sleeper compartment was not hurt.

Deputy Donald Jones responded to an accident on KY 109 in Wheatcroft.
According to the report, Kenton Burton, 34 of Wheatcroft, was northbound on 109 when he lost control of his vehicle and struck a wooden bridge. He as given a field sobriety test and charged for Operating a motor vehicle under the influence.
The vehicle was severely damaged but Burton refused medical assistance.
