On Wednesday, January 22, 2014, at approximately 11:37 a.m., KSP Detective Billy Sumner arrested Michael A. Cummings, 46 of Nebo, KY. Mr. Cummings was charged with one count of Sexual Abuse 1st Degree – Victim under 12 (C Felony). He was lodged in the Webster County Jail.
An investigation was initiated in September of 2013 after Det. Sumner received information from the Webster County Department for Community Based Services that the accused had sexual contact with a child in Webster County.
Det. Sumner is continuing the investigation.
